Both of these have been reduced, and there’s now a penalty for using it constantly. The move was often overused in PvP as it offered many invincibility frames and a great travel distance when used. In addition, the patch notes also reveal a nerf for the Ash of War Bloodhound Step. On the flipside, this also means players are prone to invasion in a much larger portion of the map too. The upshot of this, is that players should now be able to summon help from a much larger area of the map than before. Notably, it adds a function to send summoning sings to summoning pools. It’s a pretty major patch with a number of bug fixes, gameplay tweaks and balance changes. Bandai Namco has announced that the latest update for Elden Ring, patch 1.06, is now available.
